Every day, we see how solar energy changes lives by lowering bills, easing stress, and bringing comfort to homes across our community.

This Christmas, we want to pass that gift forward by donating two complete solar and battery systems to local families on the Gold Coast who are doing it tough.

It’s our way of saying thank you for the trust and support this community has shown us, and to bring a bit more light, hope, and heart to those who need it most.

Nominations

You can nominate yourself, your family, or someone you know.

Simply share their story below and tell us why they could use a helping hand and what this gift might mean for them.

Nominations will close Sunday the 21st of December and winners will be announced shortly after, just in time for Christmas.

Each nomination will be reviewed with care. Eligible entries will go into a verified random draw, ensuring fairness and transparency.

Terms & Conditions

Free Entry: There is no cost to enter or nominate.
Eligibility: Open to residents within First Choice Solar’s service area (Gold Coast and surrounding regions).
Entry Period: Nominations open on 24/11/25 and close on 21/12/25. Entries received after this date will not be considered.
Selection Process: All nominations will be reviewed to confirm eligibility. Final recipients will be chosen through a verified random draw from all eligible entries to ensure fairness and transparency.
Prizes: Two solar and battery systems (including installation) will be donated to selected families.
Installation Requirements: Solar installation is subject to a standard site inspection and safety assessment. If the chosen property is unsuitable for installation, another eligible recipient will be selected.
Announcement: Winners will be contacted directly and announced publicly on First Choice Solar’s social channels and/or local radio before Christmas 2025.
Publicity: By entering, nominees and nominators agree that their name, suburb, and story may be shared publicly if selected (with consent).
Privacy: Personal information collected will only be used to administer this initiative and will not be shared with third parties.
Discretion: First Choice Solar reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the initiative if unforeseen circumstances arise (e.g., safety, supply, or eligibility issues).
Good Faith: This initiative is a charitable community project. No purchase is required, and no monetary value is exchangeable or transferable.
