First Choice Solar 2021 Year In Review.

2021 has been another great year for First Choice Solar and our team.

We have installed over 12,000 solar panels and helped over 600 local Gold Coast families and businesses significantly reduce their electricity bills and carbon footprint. Throughout the year we have seen a big shift towards hybrid and battery technology as well as EV chargers. This is an exciting time to be a part of the renewable energy industry and we cannot wait to see what 2022 has in store for us in this area.

We have welcomed on board a new Office Manager in Keagan. Keagan has proven to be a great asset to our business and we are very lucky to have her on our team moving forward. Throughout the year we have also taken on several additional employees and apprentices in our installations teams to assist with the increased workload we have experienced this year.

We have continued and strengthened our support of the local sporting teams in which we sponsor, Burleigh Bears, Currumbin Eagles and the Marymount Makos. These sponsorships are very important to us and we take great pride in our relationships with these local organisations.

Peter set off on his maiden ‘Variety Bash’ in early November, raising money for children’s charity. He also managed to tick a few things off his bucket list; the ‘Variety Bash’ being one and a fight in the Fred Brophy tent being another.

We also welcomed a few new additions to the First-Choice Solar family this year.

Matt & Kate added to their fast-growing family with their third boy, ‘Cooper’ whilst Josh & Jodie welcomed their first baby into the world which was also a boy, ‘Albie’. The arrival of Albie also made Pete a grandfather for the first time which he is over the moon about.

Josh also decided to hang up the boots and retire from footy this year to concentrate on the business and his young family.

Lastly, a massive thank you to all of our customers for supporting local business.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Peter, Matt, Josh and the First Choice Solar Team.
