Row For Life
Our annual Row For Life event was established a few years back, dedicated to supporting various charities and individuals in need. To date, our solar power installers have successfully raised over $50,000 in funds, channeling these donations towards organizations such as ASD for Kids and families facing dire circumstances right here on the Gold Coast.
What started as a humble initiative has blossomed into a beloved community tradition, drawing in local heroes, NRL stars, radio personalities, and countless others, all joining forces for a common cause: to extend a helping hand to those who need it most.

Community support
We concentrate further supportive efforts on initiatives that we believe have the power to drive sustainable outcomes, like, youth sports which play a vital role in shaping the future leaders of our communities. They promote physical health and teamwork but also foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie among participants.
In today's modern, technology gripped world, community sport couldn’t be more important, that’s why our solar power installers proudly support local clubs, providing financial support to ensure young athletes have the resources they need to thrive.

Water is life
We are commited to creating lasting impactful change. With over 2 billion people worldwide lacking access to safe and clean water, the need for sustainable solutions within this space has never been greater.
Through our partnership with BRAUS Foundation, we’re helping build water pumps in communities where safe water is scarce. These pumps don’t simply provide clean water; they improve health, empower communities and open the door to education and economic growth.

The Christmas Giving Projects
System Donation:
Last Christmas, First Choice Solar gave back in the way we know best: by sharing light.
Through The Christmas Giving Project, we donated two complete solar and battery systems to local families doing it tough on the Gold Coast.
The two recipient families are now living with reduced power bills, greater energy security, and one less financial pressure heading into the year ahead.
It’s our way of saying thank you to the community that powers us all year long. By providing clean, reliable energy, we hope to bring not just savings, but a little more warmth, hope, and stability to families who need it most.
The community's response was overwhelming. Each nomination was reviewed with care, and recipients were selected through a verified community drawer.
Together, we proved that small acts, when done with heart, can make a meaningful difference.
Supporting Kids in Need
As part of our Christmas impact, we proudly partnered with Baby Give Back to bring Christmas joy to children who might otherwise go without.
Baby Give Back is a Queensland-based charity that has been supporting families in crisis since 2017, ensuring that every child has the essential items and opportunities they deserve. They work closely with social service agencies to provide safe, high-quality baby goods, clothing, toys, and equipment to families experiencing hardship.
Through this partnership, First Choice Solar donated $4,000 worth of brand-new toys to children in need across South-East Queensland.
We contributed $2,000, and our long-time partner GoodWe matched our impact with an additional $2,000 donation, helping us extend our reach and impact even further.
Because when good people and good energy come together, real impact happens.
